Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and [Owner name], an individual, in [State], United States, who operates FaithFull Scholars ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement.
The service
FaithFull Scholars is a directory that helps theological schools and scholars find each other: profiles, courses, postings, inquiries, applications and conference interviews. We do not employ scholars, act as an agent for anyone, or guarantee any appointment, placement, or the accuracy of what users enter.
Profiles are reviewed by an administrator before they are public. Review checks that a profile is suitable to publish; it does not verify every claim. Credentials, confessions and other details are as declared by the scholar or the institution unless the page says otherwise.
Your account
Keep your password secret and tell us through the contact page if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. Institution members act on behalf of their institution and must have its permission to do so.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You let us store it, show your approved profile and courses publicly, and share your application with the institution you apply to, for as long as it is on the service. Administrators may decline, hide or remove content that breaks these terms or that cannot be published.
Only post information that is accurate and that you have the right to share. Declared confessions and doctrinal statements are your own; enter them only if you want them shown.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no false identities or credentials, harassment, spam, scraping or automated bulk collection, attempts to access data that is not yours, or attempts to disrupt the service. Report abuse through the contact page. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Institutions, inquiries and applications
An inquiry or an interview request is an invitation to talk, not an offer. Any agreement between an institution and a scholar is between them; we are not a party to it. Applications are sealed when sent: the institution keeps the copy you submitted.
AI faculty matcher
The AI faculty matcher suggests and ranks scholars from approved profiles by fit with a search, using what they declared. Its suggestions can be wrong or incomplete; treat them as a starting point, not as advice or a recommendation.
Plans and fees
Institution plans are arranged with us directly. Prices shown on the site are indicative; nothing can be purchased online yet.
Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using information on the service.
Ending your use
You may stop using the service at any time and ask us, through the contact page, to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State of [State].
Changes
We may update these terms. We publish each version with an effective date, and we will ask you to accept a new version before it applies to you.
